Aurora Borealis Northern lights and Lightning over Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
The aurora borealis northern lights showed up just enough to provide the backdrop for this passing isolated thunderstorm. Only had a couple chances to pick up a lightning bolt and this happened. From July, 2012- how rare is that? :) Featured: Spaceweather.com 07/17/2012
